I always knew that when I looked back on the times I cried I would smile... But I never knew that when I looked back on the times I smiled.. I would cry. Thanks to you, I had a friend I could rely on. Thanks to you, I did incredible things I thought I never would do for a friend. Thanks to you, I was happy to hang around a group of friends for once. Thanks to you, I see a long lasting friendship of us. But now.. Thanks to you, I was hurt. Thanks to you, I cried for a friend that left my life for the first time. Thanks to you, I could never stay with you because I know it will eventually hurt you. Thanks to you, I'm afraid of getting too close with any friends I might meet. Thanks to you, I had to leave. But also.. Thanks for showing me the real you so I could get you out of my life as soon as possible. I threw away your birthday letter to me, and .. the ring we made together. I'm afraid, I might have the hope of you coming back again.. So that's why I decided to throw them away... ..
